Emblem Benalla is starting to take shape with building work on the community’s show homes underway.

On Friday, June 14, Emblem Group Director Rowan Pollard was onsite with Keystone Building Group Director Glen Boyd.

Mr Pollard said Keystone was selected as it’s local company, based out at Shepparton, known for quality builds.

“At the moment, we’re building our two display homes, which will give a real feel on the quality that we’re actually going to be delivering at Emblem Benalla,” Mr Pollard said.

“We’ve got our builder engaged. Keystone do a lot of regional work, and we’ve been working with them for a number of years now on the overall design and making sure that we really get the quality we want.

“The homes here work well from an energy efficiency point of view and also a liveability point of view, making sure that the space is utilised really well.

Mr Pollard said getting the show homes built would be a great way to highlight the quality of the development to potential buyers.

Keystone Building Group Director Glen Boyd said they should be ready to walk through in about 12 weeks.

“Rowan and I had also spoken about potentially building these off-site, but we decided to build on-site as it will provide a much superior quality finish,” Mr Boyd said.

“Then the next phase will be completing civil works, completing the clubhouse, and stage one of the homes.

“That will be 13 to 18 homes that we deliver in the next stage.

“When people move in, the clubhouse will be done and a good substantial number of homes will be here.

“So people just won’t be living here by themselves. There will be a good community from day one.”
